Role & responsibilities

1.1. International Routing

1.2 Visit ports to manage compliance and liaison with customs authorities to get quick resolution:

a. Cargo flow: Shipment arrangement through logistics system (such as ILS / OTM) for timely delivery as per need-date or project schedule by communication with different roles like Buyer, Supplier, LSP, Project manager, etc. for outbound and inbound flow.

b. Communication Flow: Timely troubleshooting during shipment movement by collaboration with internal & external parties actively whenever there might be shipment delay. Customer service to customers regarding to shipment plans /status /issues/solutions.

c. System: Correctly and timely logistics system update by proactively collecting the shipment data from LSP as well as other parties and ensure data quality and integrity and provide necessary guidance to suppliers on system usage by leveraging helpdesk.

d. Right docs collection to send timely handoffs to different destination team to ensure seamless hand-over.

e. Ensure the shipment release to follow Customers logistics sourcing strategy.

f. Support logistics quality improvement by timely record in NC system for any nonconformance at transactional level.

g. Support logistics damage claim by initiating claim request as well as collecting necessary shipping docs, arranging shipment return when required.

1.3. Other Services

a. Support New Initiatives like new system implementation, new carriers / P&Ls /procedure launching.

b. Responsible for each claim case by collaborating with different teams such as routers, insurance rep. suppliers, etc. with the global claim procedure.

c. Facilitate the timely payment by working with global Freight Payment Center, engaging business/operation/service providers for resolution.

d. Train the LSP on Freight Audit process in India region.

e. Provide the IPS report to P&L by working with IPS local team.

f. Troubleshooting on freight audit procedure when docs missing or new requirement emerging by working with IPS and Customer.
