Logistics-Business development executive

As a Business Development Executive in the Logistics & Freight Forwarding industry, your role will involve: - Identifying and engaging with prospective clients to promote freight forwarding and logistics services (air, sea, and land). - Understanding client logistics needs and recommending tailored transport and supply chain solutions. - Developing and maintaining long-term relationships with key clients and partners. - Collaborating with internal teams (operations, documentation, customer service) to ensure smooth onboarding and service execution. - Preparing service proposals, handling client inquiries, and assisting in rate negotiations and contract discussions. - Tracking and maintaining records of client interactions, opportunities, and service requests using internal systems or CRM tools. - Monitoring market trends and competitor activities to identify areas for business expansion. - Achieving assigned performance targets and contributing to overall business growth. Requirements: - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English; proficiency in Tamil and Hindi is an added advantage. - Good understanding of freight forwarding, logistics processes, and documentation. - Ability to engage professionally with clients and present service offerings effectively. - Strong organizational and time management skills with a proactive mindset. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); familiarity with CRM or logistics systems is a plus. - Prior experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or related industries preferred. - Minimum qualification: Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
