We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of CONSULTANT SPECIALIST In this role, you will: Act as SME and collaborate closely with global and regional stake holders from across different functions, with regards to log monitoring strategy, operating model, implementation, and service delivery. Take ownership in overseeing new migrations, new task absorption, process improvement on consistent & continual basis. Engage with wider audit stakeholders like Internal, external, regulatory audits etc and ensure smooth handling of audit engagements, provide evidencing for audits on continual basis, ensure nil findings /non-conformities. Identify key initiatives and implement process improvements and work with project team detailing business requirement and drive quality end-to-end automation delivery in an agile manner, improving adherence to control requirements. Perform process gap analysis, capture findings as MSII and drive closure. Conduct regular training sessions for the team to enhance their skills and ensure quality service delivery. Work with key stake holders, effectively resolve any queries/escalations thereby improving customer satisfaction levels. Own and managing reporting for IAM Log Monitoring processes inline with the control expectations. Requirements To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements: Should have bachelor s degree. Experience in Logging and Monitoring Solid understanding of security principles and practices. Experience in handling IAM audits and automation delivery. Should have good knowledge and understanding of analyzing Database layer, Operating System layer and external Cloud layer security logs. Strong understanding of the Risk and Control principles. Highly self-motivated and proactive with very well-developed communication skill. Attention to detail combined with strong delivery focus and ability to meet aggressive timeframes with quality results Strong analytical and problem-solving skill with ability to deal with complex & technical data. Able to adhere to deadlines, work autonomously as well as within a team structure with minimal supervision and escalate in a timely fashion You ll achieve more when you join HSBC .
