Job Description

Role- Localization Engineers

Work From Home

Role & Responsibilities:

Prepare and process files for translation (pre-processing & post-processing).
Work with various file formats: MS Office, InDesign, PPT, XML, HTML, XLIFF, proprietary formats, etc.
Troubleshoot technical issues, manage Translation Memories (TM), and automate file analysis, parsing, and data manipulation.
Develop scripts for filtering, data transformation, and workflow automation.
Support Project Managers and collaborate with team on engineering issues.
Handle structured data and solve new technical problems daily in a fast-growing localization environment.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

Degree in Computer Science or technical field.
Knowledge of IT systems, DTP software, web/multimedia development.
Working knowledge of XML/HTML.

Desired Skills (Good to Have):

Basic JavaScript, PowerShell, Perl, VBS or other scripting languages.
Knowledge in Regular Expressions, XPath, SQL, XSL.
Exposure to localization tools and workflow automation.
