Job Description

Business/ Financials

  • Achieve the set targets on HL-Secured Loans interms of open market acquisition and existing customer conversion
  • Maintaindatabase of prospects, meet select prospects and manage the relationshipthereafter
  • Follow up on leads provided by call centre/liabilities team within defined TAT
  • Cross sellother products of Ujjivan and pass quality leads to respective officers/staff
  • Sharecustomer insights/product related feedback with the Cluster Manager HL
  • Coordinatewith Products Marketing department to carry out marketing drivesthat areassigned and catchment areasfor HL secured loans Customer
  • Interactwith customers in a courteous and professional manner; provide prompt,efficient and accurate services and establish professional relationship withthem, with a long term perspective
  • Conduct theappraisal process of potential customers in a courteous manner withoutcompromising quality
  • Guaranteeconfidential treatment of all the information gathered from customers

Internal Process

  • Carry outthe pre and post-loan activities related to Unsecured loans, perform simple financialanalysis, present the loan applications to the sanctioning committee byadhering to the set TAT prioritize the repayment of loans to preserve theportfolio quality
  • Visit thecustomers business and home to do the assessment/evaluation, following theOperations Manual procedures. Analyze and evaluate the loan applications, todetermine the situation of the business, establish the risks, determine thecapacity of repayment and the adequate loan amount for the customers needs,and also evaluate the family situation and stability
  • Visit the guarantor/collateral contact, explain about his/her roleduring the loan term
  • Cooperate with the credit department in case of identifying discrepanciesor problems in customers information, reports, etc. through CRM Microfinance.
  • Inform the customer about the Credit Committee decision
  • Coordinate with Liabilities team if applicable, to ensure bank accountsare opened/activated to disburse the loan amount and necessary standinginstructions to repay monthly disbursements
  • Perform loan utilization check and follow up on the disbursed loans,especially of the ones not paying on time
  • In case of arrears, visits customers and guarantors for the loanrecovery and coordinate with collections officer to update the statusperiodically

Learning Innovation

  • Maintain up to date knowledge of Unsecured loans as well as a workingknowledge of other products offered in the branch
  • Inform Branch Head about the demand in his/her assigned area as well ason the competition on a regular basis in consultation with CRM Microfinance.
  • Ensureadherence to training man-days/ mandatory training programs for self
  • Ensure goal setting,mid-year review and performance appraisal processes are completed withinspecified timelines
