Key Responsibilities Loading & Unloading Supervisor

Operational Management

• Supervise daily loading and unloading operations of TMT rebars, bundles, coils, and finished goods.
• Coordinate with dispatch, logistics, and warehouse teams to plan vehicle schedules.
• Ensure optimal use of EOT crane, Hydra, and mobile cranes for material movement.
• Allocate manpower effectively for smooth operations during peak hours.

Safety & Compliance

• Ensure strict adherence to safety procedures while operating material handling equipment.
• Conduct pre-operation safety checks for EOT cranes and hydras.
• Enforce PPE compliance and safe working practices among workers.
• Report any unsafe acts, near misses, or equipment malfunctions immediately.

Quality & Accuracy

• Ensure correct material is loaded/unloaded as per DOs, challans, and customer requirements.
• Monitor proper stacking, bundling, and segregation of materials.
• Prevent damages during lifting, shifting, or loading activities.

Coordination & Communication

• Coordinate with transporters, drivers, and internal departments for timely dispatch.
• Maintain daily records of loading/unloading activities, delays, and issues.
• Communicate shift updates and operational status to Warehouse/Operations Head.

Housekeeping & Discipline

• Ensure clean, organized loading bays and material yards at all times.
• Maintain discipline among equipment operators, riggers, and helpers.
