Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled LLM Data Specialist to join a project with one of the leading foundational LLM companies. The goal of this role is to help enhance large language models by generating high-quality, proprietary data that is used for fine-tuning and benchmarking AI models.

You will create multi-turn conversations simulating interactions between users and AI assistants. This includes modeling realistic tool usage, complex decision-making, and natural dialogue to ensure AI systems behave intelligently and contextually.

Key Responsibilities

• Design multi-turn conversations that simulate real user-AI interactions using apps like calendar, email, maps, and drive.
• Emulate both user and AI assistant roles, including appropriate tool calls where needed.
• Ensure logical flow, realistic decision-making, and proper use of function-calling APIs.
• Craft dialogues that demonstrate natural language understanding, task completion, and engaging general chat.
• Adhere to internal playbooks, formatting guidelines, and quality standards.
• Iterate on examples based on feedback to improve clarity, realism, and value for model training.
• Collaborate with peers and reviewers to maintain consistency and high standards.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience in a technical or analytical role.
• Familiarity with any programming language or tech stack is a plus; strong logical reasoning and understanding of APIs and data formats (e.g., JSON) are essential.
• Strong technical reasoning skills and ability to model real-world AI assistant behavior.
• Ability to break down complex tasks and simulate realistic dialogues.
• Excellent written communication skills in English, with clarity, tone, and instructional focus.
• Creative and detail-oriented in crafting realistic scenarios and responses.
• Experience working with LLMs, virtual assistants, or function-calling frameworks is a plus.
• Ability to follow detailed guidelines with high consistency.
