As a Linux/Unix Admin at NTT DATA, your primary role will be to provide depth operational support for Unix platforms across various environments within the banking sector. Your responsibilities will include planning and coordinating tasks related to advanced OS administration, infrastructure product management, and ensuring optimal level 3 SA support for corporate applications. You will also be responsible for developing reports and metrics to assist management in tracking progress and setting priorities. Additionally, you will automate processes, improve efficiencies, and adhere to corporate and business specific policies. Key Responsibilities: - Support franchise critical applications within the banking sector - Provide operational support for Unix platforms across IaaS, MVM, Standalone physical nodes, and Veritas clusters - Plan and coordinate tasks related to advanced OS administration - Develop reports and metrics for management - Oversee infrastructure-initiated deployments and vendor escalations - Automate processes and improve efficiencies - Adhere to corporate and business specific policies - Partner closely with business teams to drive customer satisfaction Qualifications Required: - 5-7 years of Linux Administration experience, specifically with RHEL 7 and 8 - Experience with VCS (Veritas Cluster) and Linux clusters - Proficiency in performance and systems management - Good understanding of Linux builds and monitoring tools - Familiarity with Oracle Database and ASM - Strong scripting knowledge for automation - Experience with Ansible - Certification in Redhat Administration is a plus About NTT DATA: NTT DATA is a $30 billion global innovator of business and technology services, serving 75% of the Fortune Global 100.
