Linguist (English)

Key Responsibilities:

Perform linguistic analysis and review of English language data.
Support language model development and evaluation through data curation, quality checks, and feedback.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data scientists, computational linguists, and project managers.
Identify and resolve linguistic issues, inconsistencies, or ambiguities in data.
Contribute to developing linguistic resources such as dictionaries, taxonomies, and grammars.
Maintain high-quality standards and ensure timely completion of project deliverables.

Qualifications & Skills:

Education:

Masters degree (MA) in Linguistics, or
Bachelor’s degree (BA) in Linguistics with relevant work experience.

Experience:

Relevant professional or academic experience in English linguistics.
Experience with corpus linguistics, NLP-related tasks, or linguistic QA is a plus.

Skills Required:

Strong command of English grammar, syntax, morphology, semantics, and pragmatics.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and in a collaborative, hybrid environment.
Familiarity with linguistic tools or language technology is desirable.
