Role & responsibilities

Job Title: Line Engineer Technical Services (Coil Coating Lines)

Location: Customer Site (India-based)

Role Summary

Key Responsibilities

Coil Coating Line Monitoring

Supervise daily operations of the coil coating line to ensure optimal performance.
Track process parameters and identify deviations or inefficiencies.

Customer Issue Resolution

Address and resolve technical concerns raised by the customer related to coating defects, line stoppages, or quality inconsistencies.
Provide on-the-spot troubleshooting and escalate complex issues to senior technical teams when needed.

Paint Stock Management

Monitor paint consumption and maintain accurate inventory records.
Coordinate timely replenishment of paint stock and ensure proper storage and handling.

Daily Technical Service Activities

Conduct routine checks on equipment, coating quality, and process stability.
Prepare daily service reports and share insights with internal teams for continuous improvement.

Process Documentation

Maintain logs of technical interventions, line performance metrics, and customer feedback.
Support audits and quality reviews with relevant documentation.

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
3 - 8 years of experience in coil coating or industrial paint application processes.
Strong understanding of coating line operations and paint chemistry.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and basic data analysis tools.
Willingness to work on-site and adapt to customer schedules.
