Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Librarian to join our team at The HDFC School. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in education and training, with excellent communication skills.

Roles and Responsibility

Manage and maintain the library's collection of books, media, and digital resources.
Develop and implement engaging library programs and activities for students.
Collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate library resources into curriculum development.
Provide individualized support and guidance to students on research projects and academic pursuits.
Maintain accurate records and reports of library usage and user feedback.
Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in library management.

Job Requirements

Master's degree in Library Science or related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in an educational setting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Familiarity with library software and technology is desirable.
