Qualification: Master’s Degree in Library and Information Science (M.Lib.Sc)
Preferred Candidate: Female candidates preferred
Work Environment: International Curriculum (IB / Cambridge) or reputed CBSE/ICSE schools

Role Overview:

We are seeking a knowledgeable and dynamic Librarian to manage both physical and digital learning resources, foster a strong reading culture, and support the academic success of students. The ideal candidate will have experience in school library management with an emphasis on digital literacy and inquiry-based learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain print collections, digital resources, and library systems
• Guide students in resource selection and support inquiry-based learning
• Teach academic honesty, citation methods, and referencing formats (APA/MLA)
• Assist students with research work like Extended Essays, Internal Assessments, and projects
• Collaborate with teachers to provide age-appropriate, curriculum-aligned resources
• Organize reading programs, literary events, and library activities to promote reading habits
• Maintain accurate library records, circulation systems, and an engaging learning space
• Support students and staff in using online research databases and digital platforms

Skills & Competencies:

• Proficiency in library systems, digital tools, and research platforms
• Strong understanding of academic writing, referencing, and research methods
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Passion for reading, student engagement, and lifelong learning
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers in an academic setting

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
