Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Librarian to join our team at CHIREC. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in education and training, with excellent communication skills.

Roles and Responsibility

Manage and maintain the library's collection of books, media, and digital resources.
Develop and implement effective library policies and procedures to ensure efficient operations.
Collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate library resources into the curriculum.
Provide research assistance and support to students and faculty members.
Maintain accurate records of library transactions and inventory.
Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in librarianship.

Job Requirements

Strong knowledge of library management principles and practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Familiarity with library software and technology is desirable.
