Job Title: Librarian
Location: Secunderabad
Work Days & Timings: Monday to Saturday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹36,000 per month

Job Summary

We are looking for a knowledgeable and organized Librarian to manage the school library, support students and staff in accessing learning resources, and promote a culture of reading and research. The ideal candidate should be skilled in library management, cataloging, and handling digital resources.

Key Responsibilities

• Organize, manage, and maintain the library collection including books, journals, and e-resources.
• Catalog, classify, and index materials for easy access.
• Assist students and faculty in locating and using library and online resources.
• Promote reading habits and conduct library orientation sessions.
• Develop and implement library policies and systems for smooth operation.
• Stay updated with digital library tools and reference databases.
• Maintain a quiet, resourceful, and engaging library environment.
• Handle the library budget, book acquisition, and vendor coordination.
• Support teachers with reference materials for academic enrichment.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: B.Lib (Bachelor of Library Science) or equivalent.
• Experience: Prior library management experience preferred (freshers may also apply).
• Preferred Age: 25–40 years.
• Skills: Strong organizational and cataloging skills, good English communication, and knowledge of digital library systems and online research tools.

Additional Information

• Salary range: ₹20,000 – ₹36,000 per month (T3-C grade).
• Preference for candidates familiar with ICSE curriculum.
