Legal Specialist- FMCG Preferred

As a Legal Counsel, your main responsibility will be effective contract management, which includes drafting and reviewing various types of agreements, standardizing documents, and ensuring that the business risk is mitigated through organized contract management. You will also be managing and providing legal advice for all types of Litigation, including product liability, HR/labor, NIA, counterfeiting, and commercial matters initiated by or against the Company. In this role, you will liaise with external counsel for various litigations. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing trademark, design, and patent matters, as well as overseeing the Company's IP portfolio. Conducting legal research and providing opinions on questions of law and practical issues faced by the Company will also be part of your duties. You should have adequate knowledge to establish an effective document management system and Management Information System (MIS) for the legal department. To qualify for this position, you should have an LLB or LLM degree, along with 3-5 years of experience, preferably in an in-house legal role. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for this role. This is a full-time, permanent position with benefits including health insurance, paid sick time, and Provident Fund.
