Legal Project Manager

As a Legal Project Manager at our company, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the delivery of legal projects, including contracts, IPR, compliance, and advisory work. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that projects are well-planned, executed on time, and delivered with accuracy and client satisfaction. Your role will involve acting as the bridge between clients, lawyers, and internal teams to facilitate clear communication and smooth workflows. Key Responsibilities: - Plan, track, and manage multiple legal projects from initiation to delivery. - Act as the single point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and timely responses. - Translate client briefs into structured action plans for internal teams. - Ensure accuracy, compliance, and risk checks before final delivery. - Coordinate across lawyers, associates, and support teams to maintain smooth workflows. - Introduce and implement process improvements, templates, and tracking systems to reduce errors and delays. - Monitor timelines, track deliverables, and prevent escalations. - Contribute to business growth by ensuring high client satisfaction and repeat engagements. Key Skills & Competencies: - Strong project management and organizational skills. - Excellent client-facing communication and coordination abilities. - Understanding of legal processes (contracts, IPR, compliance, etc.). - Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deadlines. - Process-oriented mindset with exposure to trackers, templates, or project management tools (Excel, Asana, Trello, etc.). - Eye for detail, with focus on accuracy and risk management. - Business awareness - understanding how timely delivery builds client trust and retention. Qualifications & Experience: - Master's of Business Administration (MBA) or equivalent; LLB preferred. - 4-6 years of experience in legal services/project management. - Prior experience in managing contracts, compliance, or IPR projects is a strong advantage. - Exposure to client-facing roles or legal tech platforms will be preferred.
