Legal Officer

1. Legal Drafting & Documentation:

• Drafting and reviewing contracts, legal notices, affidavits, petitions, deeds, agreements (e.g., development agreements, lease deeds, sale deeds).
• Preparing legal opinions, memoranda, and client communications.
• Vetting legal documents for accuracy and legal soundness.

2. Case Preparation & Litigation Support:

• Assisting advocates in preparing briefs and pleadings.
• Preparing and compiling evidence, annexures, and exhibits.
• Filing of court documents and tracking case status on court portals.

3. Legal Research:

• Conducting in-depth research on case laws, statutes, and legal precedents.
• Preparing research notes and summaries to support litigation or advisory work.

4. Client Management:

• Communicating with clients regarding case status, documentation requirements, and legal strategy.
• Attending client meetings and assisting in consultation sessions.

5. Court & Registry Work:

• Attending court hearings along with senior lawyers or independently (if enrolled).
• Coordinating with court clerks, registry staff, and process servers.
• Ensuring timely filing, service of summons/notices, and inspection of court files.

6. Compliance & Regulatory Work:

• Ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulatory requirements, and court procedures.
• Filing RTIs, obtaining certified copies, and coordinating with government authorities when required.

7. Administrative and Team Support:

• Maintaining case records and databases.
• Coordinating with external counsel, consultants, and law enforcement if needed.
• Supporting internal training and documentation standardization.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹10,000.00 per month
