Legal Officer/ Legal Associate

Responsibilities The Legal Officer/ Legal Associate will support the in-house/ external legal team in managing cases related to companies acquired under the process of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC) as well as Group Companies and ensuring compliance with Reserve Bank of India (RBI) regulations. This role involves providing legal and administrative assistance to external counsel and clients of NBFCs/ Group Companies, handling legal procedures, and maintaining effective file management. Qualifications • Education: LL.B. or equivalent • Experience: Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in managing legal cases related to IBC acquired companies and RBI compliance within NBFC, at IPE/ Law firms/ NBFC or similar financial institution. • Skills: Strong understanding of IBC/ SARFAESI/ Debt Recovery/ RBI Circulars & other legal procedures, excellent research and analytical skills, effective communication, and attention to detail.
