Internship Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Legal Consultant Intern to assist in policy drafting, legal research, and compliance management. This role is ideal for law students or recent graduates who are interested in regulatory frameworks, corporate governance, and policy development.

Key Responsibilities

Policy Drafting & Development:

• Assist in drafting internal policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and legal guidelines
• Support in reviewing and updating existing organizational policies
• Help in creating compliance manuals, codes of conduct, and governance documents

Legal Research:

• Conduct legal research on statutes, rules, regulations, and case laws
• Summarize legal findings and prepare research notes and reports
• Track changes in laws and regulatory requirements relevant to the organization

Compliance Support:

• Assist in conducting compliance checks and internal audits
• Support in maintaining legal and regulatory documentation
• Help track deadlines for filings, licenses, and regulatory submissions

Documentation & Reporting:

• Prepare compliance reports and legal documentation
• Maintain structured legal records and document repositories

Skills & Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Degree in Law (LLB, BALLB, or equivalent)
• Strong legal research and writing skills
• Basic understanding of corporate law, compliance, and regulatory frameworks
• Good drafting, communication, and analytical skills
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and legal research tools
