Role Overview

Legal Intern

Roles & Responsibilities

Drafting & Documentation

  • Draft and review MoUs, PMC agreements, tender documents, development agreements, indemnity bonds, authority letters, and other legal contracts.
  • Prepare notices, letters, NOCs, meeting resolutions, minutes of meetings, and undertakings.
  • Assist in preparing 79A documentation, consent formats, tender booklets, legal checklists, and compliance reports.

Research & Compliance

  • Conduct legal research related to MHADA, SRA, RERA, MOFA, Co-operative Society Act, DCPR 2034, UDCPR 2020, and redevelopment policies.
  • Support compliance tracking and ensure legal documents adhere to required statutory procedures.
  • Help in drafting replies to authority queries, legal notices, and objection/reply statements.

Due Diligence & Verification

  • Assist in title search, property document verification, and due diligence for redevelopment and SRA proposals.
  • Review developer submissions, financial documents, and compliance declarations.
  • Maintain accuracy of document records and follow up for pending documents.

Coordination & Client Support

  • Coordinate with advocates, society members, developers, and consultants for documentation and legal clarifications.
  • Attend society meetings, record discussions, and prepare MOMs.
  • Assist in preparing presentations, legal summaries, and briefs for internal and external meetings.

Administrative & Legal Support

  • Maintain legal trackers, document logs, and MIS reports.
  • Organize and archive legal documents in digital and physical formats.
  • Support senior legal advisors on ongoing project requirements.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Pursuing LLB/BA-LLB/BCom-LLB or equivalent.
  • Strong drafting and legal research abilities.
  • Basic understanding of real estate laws and redevelopment processes (preferred).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask, maintain confidentiality, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Google Workspace.
