Key Responsibilities:

1. Legal Management & Advisory:

  • Provide strategic legal advice and support to the management on all company operations, transactions, and projects.
  • Draft, vet, and review various legal documents including sale deeds, joint venture agreements, MoUs, power of attorney, development agreements, and lease deeds.
  • Ensure legal soundness of all company documents, contracts, and agreements.
  • Advise on property acquisition, due diligence, title clearance, and encumbrance checks.

2. Compliance & Regulatory Affairs:

  • Ensure adherence to all statutory requirements under RERA, CMDA, DTCP, and other applicable local and national laws.
  • Handle legal compliance relating to land use, conversion, layout approvals, and registration processes.
  • Liaise with government departments, registrar offices, and local authorities for legal clearances and documentation.
  • Maintain up-to-date awareness of legal developments, amendments, and notifications affecting the real estate sector.

3. Litigation & Dispute Resolution:

  • Manage all litigation matters including property disputes, arbitration, and consumer cases.
  • Coordinate with external legal counsel and monitor the progress of ongoing cases.
  • Represent the company before courts, tribunals, and regulatory authorities when required.

4. Documentation & Registrar Office Operations:

  • Supervise the preparation and registration of property documents in registrar offices.
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance of all documentation related to sales, land purchase, and development agreements.
  • Maintain organized records and digital archives of all legal documents.

5. Team Leadership & Coordination:

  • Lead and manage the legal team, ensuring smooth coordination with the business development, projects, and liaison departments.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior legal staff.
  • Support senior management in decision-making by offering timely legal insights and risk assessments.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • Gender Preference:

  • Educational Qualification:

    Must be a

    qualified lawyer (LL.B / LL.M)

    from a recognized university or institution.
  • Experience:

    Minimum 7-

    15 years

    of experience in real estate or property law practice, with proven exposure to land documentation and registrar office operations.
  • Age Limit:

    Between

    30 and 50 years

    .
  • Language Proficiency:

    Must be fluent in

    English and Tamil (Thamizh)

    both written and spoken.
  • Knowledge Requirements:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of

Remuneration:

The salary is highly competitive which is fixed between 12LPA-20LPA and may vary based on the interview performance.
