Job Description

Your Role to Shape zzazz

ZZAZZ, located in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, is seeking a skilled Legal Counsel to join our innovative team. We are revolutionizing the digital content economy by using AI to price content autonomously, creating a transparent marketplace where quality determines value.

Roles and Responsibilities

Provide expert legal advice on tech and product compliance, ensuring all products and services meet regulatory standards.
Oversee corporate housekeeping, including managing corporate records, compliance filings, and board meeting documentation.
Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts, including NDAs, partnership agreements, licensing agreements, and service contracts.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business operations and strategic initiatives.
Ensure compliance with corporate governance practices and policies.
Handle data privacy matters and ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and legal developments affecting the tech sector.
Manage and mitigate legal risks associated with business operations.
Provide training and guidance to employees on legal and compliance matters.

Skillset

Proven expertise in corporate housekeeping and regulatory compliance.
In-depth knowledge of data privacy law and contract law
Excellent negotiation, drafting, and communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

High ethical standards and integrity
Admission to the Bar in India

Experience

At least 5 years of experience as a lawyer, with a strong focus on tech and product compliance.

Qualification

LL.B or equivalent law degree from a recognized institution
