The Role

As a Legal Assistant at StaffScout, you’ll be a behind-the-scenes powerhouse—drafting documents, managing legal workflows, and keeping cases moving forward. What You’ll Do

• Draft and review legal documents like pleadings, motions, letters, and contracts
• Organize case files and manage deadlines, calendars, and task lists
• Conduct legal research and compile case data for attorneys
• Communicate with clients, courts, and legal professionals as needed
• Prepare exhibits, affidavits, and materials for depositions or hearings
• Provide general administrative support to keep everything running smoothly

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience as a legal assistant or paralegal
• Familiarity with U.S. legal terms, documents, and workflows preferred
• Excellent written and spoken English communication
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Tech-savvy with legal software, research tools, and case management platforms
• A self-starter who thrives in remote work environments
• Paralegal certification is a plus, but not required
