Job Summary:

We are seeking qualified, detail-oriented, and experienced legal professionals from junior to senior levels with strong expertise in title tracing, property law, and drafting legal opinions. The ideal candidate should be adept at analyzing complex land and property documents, identifying legal risks, and providing clear, accurate, and concise legal opinions.

Key Responsibilities:

For All Levels:

• Conduct detailed title verification and title tracing of properties (urban and rural).
• Review and analyze land records, sale deeds, partition deeds, gift deeds, encumbrance certificates, mutation records, RTCs, RORs, and other relevant documents.
• Prepare clear, well-structured legal opinions regarding the validity of the title and marketability of the property.
• Draft and vet legal documents including sale deeds, lease agreements, MoUs, and development agreements.
• Coordinate with government offices, sub-registrar offices, and clients for title documents and legal clarifications.
• Advise internal stakeholders or clients on land acquisition, due diligence, and compliance with applicable laws

Senior Advocate (4+ years):

• Lead and supervise the entire title verification and opinion process.
• Handle complex matters involving joint family properties, succession, disputes, or defective titles.
• Mentor junior team members and review their work.
• Represent clients in property-related litigation, if required.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Law (LL.B) from a recognized university.
• Enrollment with a Bar Council and license to practice law.
  

Skills & Experience:

• Strong understanding of property law, contract law, and local land laws.
• Prior experience in real estate due diligence and title tracing is mandatory.
• Proficient in examining land records and identifying encumbrances or defects.
• Excellent drafting, research, and analytical skills.
• Ability to communicate legal advice clearly to non-legal stakeholders
• Fluency in local language(s) for document review is an advantage.
  

Preferred:

• Experience working with real estate developers, law firms, or land aggregators.
• Exposure to digital land record portals (e.g., Bhoomi, Dharani, etc. depending on region).
  

Compensation:

Commensurate with experience and industry standards.
