Job Description

Job Summary:

The Legal Advisor will oversee all legal aspects of the company's operations, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, providing expert legal advice, and supporting the management in handling contracts, government approvals, registrations, and documentation. The role involves liaising with government bodies and managing legal risks to protect the company's interests.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Audit Report Handling Review:

    Review, verify, and support audit-related documentation to ensure legal and regulatory compliance.
  2. Safety Compliance

    Monitor and ensure adherence to workplace safety laws and standards.
  3. Labour Rights & Laws

    Ensure compliance with labour legislation, employee rights, and Industrial Relations regulations.
  4. Document Preparation

    Draft, review, and maintain all legal documents, contracts, and company records.
  5. Government Certificates & Approvals

    Manage applications and renewals of all statutory certificates and licenses.
  6. Contracts & Agreements

    – Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and MoUs; oversee dispute resolution.

  • EB (Electricity Board)

  • PWD (Public Works Department)

  • TNPCB (Pollution Control Board)

  • Revenue Department

  • Police Department

  • RTO (Regional Transport Office)

  • FSSAI / Transport / Food Departments

  • Local Administration / Municipality

  • Fire Department (Designated Fire & Safety Approvals and NOCs)

  1. Registration Processes

    – Handle company, property, and other statutory registration procedures.
  2. Real Estate & Business Documentation

    – Oversee verification and management of real estate and commercial business documents.
  3. Insurance Handling

    – Manage all insurance-related processes including policy selection, renewals, and claims.
  4. Litigation & Legal Proceedings

    – Support and coordinate legal cases, notices, and represent the company’s interests as needed.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in law (LLB/LLM).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a corporate or in-house legal advisor.
  • Strong knowledge of corporate, labour, real estate, and environmental laws.
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple government departments and ensure timely compliance.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

WORK LOCATION: RANDHAM

INTERVIEW LOCATION: CHENNAI
