Duties and Responsibilities

1. Teaching Responsibilities:

• Deliver lectures on core mechanical engineering subjects such as Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, Mechanics of Materials, Manufacturing Processes, and Machine Design.
• Prepare lesson plans, course materials, and teaching aids in line with the curriculum.
• Conduct lab sessions and guide students in practical experiments.
• Assign, evaluate, and provide feedback on student assignments, projects, and exams.

2. Academic Support:

• Mentor and guide students in their academic development and career planning.
• Supervise final year projects and student research work.
• Maintain student records, attendance, and academic performance.

3. Curriculum Development:

• Participate in the development and revision of syllabus and course content.
• Integrate modern tools, simulations, and software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, ANSYS) into teaching methodologies.

4. Research and Publications:

• Engage in research activities and publish papers in reputed national/international journals and conferences.
• Apply for research grants and collaborate with industries or institutions for funded projects.

5. Institutional Contribution:

• Participate in department meetings, committees, and accreditation processes (like NBA/NAAC).
• Assist in organizing workshops, seminars, industrial visits, and technical events.
• Contribute to institutional growth by taking part in outreach, admissions, and student counseling activities.

6. Industry Interface and Skill Development:

• Build relationships with industries for internships, training, and placements.
• Keep up with recent advancements in mechanical engineering and integrate them into teaching.

7. Professional Development:

• Attend faculty development programs (FDPs), seminars, and conferences.
• Continuously upgrade knowledge through courses, certifications, and training.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
