Lecturer (Computing)

As a Lecturer in Computing at our Mumbai campus, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality teaching, supporting students academically, and contributing to program development and enhancement. Your responsibilities will include: - Delivering lectures, seminars, and tutorials according to module specifications - Developing and updating teaching materials while maintaining digital learning resources - Setting, marking, and moderating assessments with timely and constructive feedback - Acting as a Personal Academic Tutor, providing group and one-to-one academic support - Monitoring student engagement, progression, and wellbeing, and referring to support services when necessary - Contributing to quality assurance processes through unit evaluations and program reviews - Engaging in scholarship activities to uphold subject expertise - Coordinating with colleagues and supporting teaching delivery as required To excel in this role, you must meet the following essential requirements: - Hold a Masters degree in a relevant subject - Possess experience in higher education teaching and curriculum delivery - Demonstrate strong digital capability and experience with technology-enhanced learning - Exhibit excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills - Show the ability to work flexibly, manage competing priorities, and support student success - Have a commitment to continuous improvement, professional development, and institutional values Desirable qualifications and experiences include: - A PhD or willingness to work towards one - Background in research, quality assurance, or academic leadership - Membership of relevant professional bodies Please note that this is a fully on-campus teaching position in Mumbai, and some evening or weekend teaching may be required. Candidates should be prepared to work across college sites when necessary.
