Lead Test Engineering-Automation Testing

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Test Engineer with hands-on experience in Selenium , API testing , and BDD frameworks like Cucumber . The ideal candidate will have a solid background in Wealth Management or Financial Services , and a strong understanding of test automation best practices in agile environments. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts for web and API testing using Selenium and REST Assured or similar tools. Implement BDD practices using Cucumber to write clear and understandable test scenarios. Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other QA team members to understand requirements and design comprehensive test strategies. Execute automated test cases and analyze results to identify defects and ensure high-quality delivery. Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including planning, development, testing, and deployment. Ensure automation frameworks are scalable, reusable, and aligned with industry best practices. Contribute to continuous improvement in testing processes, tools, and methodologies. Create and maintain test data for various test scenarios in Wealth Management applications. Prepare test reports and provide regular updates on testing progress and quality metrics. Required Skills & Qualifications: 7+ years of hands-on experience in Automation Testing . Strong proficiency in Selenium WebDriver , Java , and test automation frameworks. Solid experience with API testing tools like Postman , REST Assured , or SoapUI . Proficient in BDD frameworks such as Cucumber , and writing Gherkin scenarios. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and using tools like JIRA , TestRail , or Zephyr . Good knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines . Familiarity with test reporting tools and dashboards (e.g., Allure, ExtentReports). Understanding of Wealth Management or Financial Services domain is mandatory. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with TestNG or JUnit . Knowledge of cloud-based testing tools or platforms (e.g., BrowserStack, Sauce Labs). Exposure to performance testing tools like JMeter is a plus. ISTQB or other QA certifications.
