What you ll do at Ather
-
SPOC for the Supplier Quality Sustenance for the assigned Suppliers or commodity (Electricals, Electronics and Mechanical etc).

End to end Quality Development of Components from Engineering to Suppliers including testers
-
Prevention strategies & CAPA for improving Plant SPR (Straight Pass Ratio)
-
Verify Quality, Systems and Process (Electricals, Electronics, EMS etc) in accordance with IS0 9000,IATF 16949, ESD 20.20 & IPC requirements at Supplier end
-
Conduct Pre-PPAP audit for Supplier parts.
-
Work with the Swimlane to implement preventive process controls to embed Quality from Development to Launch.

Drive Supplier development activities, to improve the supplier process by conducting periodic audits, sharing industry best practices, identifying process gaps and collaborating with both Suppliers and internal stakeholders for closure.

Risk identification both in Product and Process, highlighting and suggesting the activity for closure.

Ensuring PPAP and Re-PPAP for all Changes impacting Material, Method or Machine.
-
Closing Process audit , PPAP and ISA NCs and Risks mitigation in the Program review meetings.

Monitor and validate early production builds to ensure that the Designs, Tools, Jigs and Fixtures meet the industry standard manufacturing practices.

Imparting ESD awareness (need based) and implementation check as per ESD 20.20, product qualification, compliance verification as per TR 53
-
Child part complaint handling, effective RCA & action deployment in a timely manner.

Supplier performance monitoring, upgradation & release of monthly scorecard.

Participate in swimlanes and accountable for Supplier Development, PPAP, Process Definition and Audits.

Impact analysis for Change Requests, Highlight Product / process risks in the Swimlanes via JIRA tool.

Control the Component Quality stage-gates across APDS (Ather Product Development System) ensuring quality is built early into the Design/Process.

Work closely with the Manufacturing Engineering, Supplier Management and Design Engineering teams to ensure highest levels of Components Quality and supporting in DFMEA , DFM, TCKO and Gauge validation (GRR) activities.
Here s what we re looking for

Expertise in Supplier Quality Management in the Automotive industry.

Worked in EV battery handling both Electronics & Mechanical parts comprising Box build.

Sound knowledge on Casting, Sheet metal, Plastics and worked in Electronics Manufacturing Service (EMS) SMT , THT & Soldering process.

Knowledge in IPC 610A & IPC711 Acceptance level
-
Strong analytical skills and ability to deliver quality products to meet the deadline without losing the bigger picture

Expertise in APQP,PPAP,PFMEA,FTA,8D,SPC ,MSA, 7QC
-
DFM understanding & execution for supplier components.

Understanding and implementation of ESD requirement
-
Good technical communication skills, Punctuality and able to drive the supplier related activities at Supplier as well Internally (Swimlane)
