Job Description

Role & responsibilities

  • Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs.
  • Responsible to arrange business meetings with prospective clients.
  • Identify market opportunities through meetings, networking, and other channels.
  • Negotiate Structured Trade Facilitation (STF) deals and direct trade deals.
  • Prepare STF contracts ensuring adherence to SOP and guidelines.
  • Provide and update records of sales, revenue, invoices, etc.
  • Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Ensure timely escalation/resolution of any possible deviations, non-compliance, or grievance issues to the reporting manager.
  • Provide timely support and feedback on all commercial/operational activities as required.
  • Maintain cordial relationships through frequent interaction with customers to ensure long-term business objectives.
  • Prepare and share timely business information with key inferences to all internal stakeholders on a periodic basis pertaining to financial/operational parameters.
  • Provide timely updates to the reporting Manager on opportunities, key issues, and challenges for taking appropriate actions in mitigating/addressing the same.
  • Develop entry-level staff into valuable salespeople.
  • Ensure statutory and regulatory compliance on all sales operations-related activities in line with business expectations.
  • Keep up to date with the latest trends in the industry by effectively networking with internal and external stakeholders for proactive decision-making
