Job Description

As a Lead Software Sales at our client's well-funded, high-growth startup, you will play a crucial role in acquiring and expanding strategic enterprise accounts in the domain of supply chain transformation. Your primary responsibility will be to execute the sales lifecycle meticulously, from prospecting to deal closure, ensuring each step is carried out with precision. In this role, you will focus on identifying and targeting ideal clients within manufacturing, distribution, and supply-chain-intensive industries. By engaging directly with CXOs, functional leaders, and IT decision-makers, you will establish trust, shape solutions, and secure high-value deals to position our AI/ML-powered SaaS platform as the preferred choice for supply chain transformation. Key responsibilities include delivering impactful demos through compelling presentations tailored to client needs, collaborating with marketing for lead quality, aligning feature positioning with market requirements, and consistently achieving or surpassing monthly and quarterly revenue goals. Additionally, maintaining sales discipline by ensuring accurate CRM updates, monitoring pipeline health, and providing regular reporting will be essential. The ideal candidate for this role should possess at least 5 years of B2B enterprise sales experience, preferably in SaaS, enterprise technology, or automation solutions, with a proven track record in consultative, long-cycle sales. Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and presentation skills are crucial, along with an established network in manufacturing, distribution, or supply chain sectors being advantageous. An MBA from a reputable institution is preferred, showcasing a passion for technology, innovation, and scaling businesses in a startup environment.
