Job Description

Role Overview: As a Lead Software Engineer at Prepaid Management Services, you will be responsible for working within agile teams to develop high-quality mobile app-based solutions for both internal and external customers. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that all development work aligns with design, development, and company standards set by the Prepaid Management Services Leadership and Architecture teams. Your contribution to coding and testing new developments will be essential in maintaining code quality and adherence to standards. Additionally, you will be expected to participate in scrum ceremonies, analyze processes, produce scalable designs, and support test and build automation. Key Responsibilities: - Participate in scrum ceremonies like sprint planning, daily stand-ups, demonstrations, and retrospectives. - Analyze current processes and systems to create scalable and evolving designs. - Translate technical designs into code implementation. - Develop readable and maintainable code with appropriate unit tests. - Minimize code complexity and simplify architecture. - Support test and build automation processes. - Provide high-level and detailed estimates for development tasks. - Adhere to the development process and suggest improvements. - Ensure on-time completion of individual and team tasks through effective communication and collaboration. - Produce technical design documentation and ensure compliance with the architectural roadmap. - Mentor junior developers and offer technical guidance. Qualifications Required: - Around 8-10 years of experience in Mobile Application Development (Native iOS, Javascript, Node.js, React Native, Kotlin MultiPlatform) with 2-4 years in a technical team leader role. - Proficiency in Swift and Objective-C. - Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. - Experience with CI/CD pipelines for iOS and Android Applications. - Sound knowledge of Mobile App Security. - Familiarity with RESTful/SOAP based APIs and UI/UX standards. - Excellent communication skills to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. - Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. - Familiarity with Android development and cloud services like Firebase is beneficial. - Knowledge of SDLC support tools, npm, CSS, and financial services experience would be desirable. (Note: Personal qualities such as flexibility, creativity, problem-solving skills, communication skills, self-starter, and leadership ability are also important for this role.),
