Lead Software Engineer - Fullstack

As a Software Engineer at OpenText, you will play a crucial role in the development and maintenance of enterprise-level systems. Your responsibilities will include systems analysis, research, maintenance, troubleshooting, and other programming activities within Agile-based project teams. You will have the opportunity to design and implement solutions for information management platforms and applications. - Lead one or more projects as a Lead Engineer, interacting with stakeholders to gather requirements, develop, and build solutions. - Demonstrate excellent knowledge of OpenText B2B platforms and integration activities. - Define and evolve the architectural vision for the AI-powered supply chain analytics platform. - Lead end-to-end technical design, including data ingestion, processing pipelines, analytics engines, and user-facing applications. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable technical solutions. - Evaluate and integrate advanced AI/ML models for predictive analytics, optimization, and decision support. - Mentor and guide junior team members. - Work effectively with minimal supervision in a deadline-driven environment. - Possess excellent troubleshooting skills. To succeed in this role, you should have: - 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 2 years in a lead role. - Experience in data-intensive or analytics-focused applications. - Extensive expertise in full stack development, including: - Front-End: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular. - API: RESTful API design, Microservices architecture, GraphQL. - Back-End: Java, Spring Boot, REST, Node.js. - Databases: SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL), NoSQL (MongoDB). - Good to have expertise in designing and implementing data platforms using technologies such as Spark, Kafka, Airflow, Snowflake, Databricks, or similar. - Familiarity with data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and distributed systems. - Knowledge of AI/ML concepts, AI services integration, and DevOps practices. - Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and security best practices. - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent/MCA/equivalent. - 8-10 years of relevant work experience.
