Lead Software Architect

As a highly skilled Software Architect with strong expertise in Node.js and AWS, your role will involve driving the design and development of scalable, secure, and high-performance applications. You will lead a team of developers, guide architectural decisions, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver cloud-native enterprise solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and mentor a team of backend engineers in building enterprise-grade applications. - Architect and implement scalable microservices using Node.js and AWS cloud services. - Drive technical discussions, code reviews, and enforce best practices. - Design and manage serverless architectures using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, and CloudFormation/CDK. - Collaborate with product managers, DevOps, and QA teams to deliver high-quality releases. - Ensure application performance, security, reliability, and cost optimization on AWS. - Troubleshoot production issues and guide root cause analysis. - Stay updated with emerging technologies, tools, and industry trends to propose adoption where appropriate. Qualifications Required: - Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent. - 7-12 years of hands-on development experience, with at least 3+ years in a lead/architect role. - Strong proficiency in Node.js, JavaScript/TypeScript. - Proven expertise in AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, CloudWatch, ECS/EKS, RDS, IAM). - Solid understanding of microservices architecture, REST APIs, GraphQL, and event-driven systems (Kafka/SQS). - Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, CodePipeline). - Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes). - Strong understanding of application security, scalability, and performance optimization. - Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills. Good to Have: - Experience with Terraform / AWS CDK / CloudFormation (Infrastructure as Code). - Exposure to frontend frameworks (React/Angular) for end-to-end understanding. - Experience in data pipelines / big data / analytics platforms on AWS. - Prior experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.,
