Job Description

As a Safety Instrumented System (SIS) Lead, your role involves overseeing the safety scope of the project and ensuring compliance with safety lifecycle requirements. Here are the key responsibilities associated with this position: - Act as the SIS Lead for the project and be the primary contact for all safety-related matters - Collaborate with the customer to understand safety requirements and analyze various inputs such as Design Specifications, P&IDs, Control Narratives, IO list, and Cause & effect diagrams - Support the Project Manager in handling the technical aspects of the Safety scope - Manage a team of SIS Software/Hardware Engineers working on the project - Verify compliance with standards such as IEC61511 and other project-specific requirements - Raise Technical Queries as needed to clarify safety system design elements - Develop Safety System Design including defining software and hardware concepts - Perform assignments such as I/O to Safety Logic Solver, developing SW libraries, and project-specific SW typicals - Design and develop safety modules including ESD, FGS, and BMS logic - Review hardware drawings, third-party devices, and ensure compatibility with the system - Plan and execute testing activities including Internal testing, Third Party Interface test, and Integrated testing between SW & HW - Support the Startup & Commissioning phase of the project and handle any changes that may arise Additionally, the job may involve tasks such as loop checks at the site and providing support during FAT/SAT activities.,
