As an engineer at Apple, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and deploying calibration and test instrumentation systems for Apple's innovative products. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will have the opportunity to impact products across Apple during the New Product Introduction (NPI) phase. Facilitate the interests and activities of EEEC IIs for process system and solution projects. You will be responsible for project activities including Lead Engineering. Follow Emerson's project execution life cycle and maintain all documentation, including technical and quality documents. Act as the Lead for the project and the primary interface with the customer for the entire project scope. Support the Project Manager in various technical aspects and project activities such as scope review, kick-off meetings, resource planning, engineering planning, procurement support, schedule planning, quality control, monitoring and controlling of the project, customer handling, risk monitoring and control, change management, performance reporting, progress reporting, and closeout. Analyse customer inputs and understand requirements such as Design Specifications, P&IDs, Control Narratives, IO list, Instrument Index, Operating Philosophies, etc. Handle a team of SW/HW Engineers working on the project. Verify compliance with project requirements. Develop System Design, review System Architecture for entire ICSS (Integrated Control & Safety System), perform I/O to Controller Assignment, define Software Concepts, Hardware Concepts, third party interfaces (Modbus, Profibus, OPC, etc.), SW library (Logic and graphics), project-specific SW typicals, SW Typical Test, I/O and base control modules, customized logic, complex logic, graphics, third party interface database/modules, review BOM for the entire system, all project documentation related to technical aspects, Internal test plan, cabinet build verification, Internal testing, Third Party Interface test, SW FAT plan development, HW FAT plan development, HW-SW Integration plan development, Integrated testing between SW & HW, FAT with customer, As Built documentation development, SAT plan development, SAT at customer location, loop checks at the site, Startup & Commissioning support, and Change Management. Implement EEEC IMS processes/documentation as required throughout the project. Adhere to WA quality requirements and customers" regulatory guidelines. Practice and promote a First-time-right approach and strictly follow GDP (Good Documentation Practices). Perform other additional specific duties as requested by the business, typically strategic in nature but could potentially be anything that you are suitably qualified and experienced to undertake under the guidance of a supervisor. You should promote high visibility of shared contributions to goals, take action in constantly evolving, unexpected situations, seek input from pertinent sources to make well-informed decisions, and handle risks associated with moving forward when the outcome is uncertain.
