Your responsibilities will include preparing cost estimates for engineering works at various stages, coordinating discipline activities to ensure compliance with project requirements, conducting Hazard and Operability studies, providing technical support to the procurement department, and drafting technical specifications for control systems and field instruments. Proficiency in software tools like Office and AutoCAD, as well as a good understanding of ATEX regulations, is essential. Additionally, you must be available for site surveys and have a basic knowledge of the English language. For a Junior Instrumentation Engineer role, you will be expected to work independently or under the guidance of a more experienced professional. Your tasks may involve creating technical specifications for field and control room instrumentation, developing process hook-up sketches, preparing interconnecting and wiring diagrams, working on instrumentation cabling and networking systems, and designing control and instrumentation on Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs). Familiarity with systems such as Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS), fire and gas detection systems, and machinery controls is desirable. You should have 8-14 years of experience in developing control logics in DCS\PLC systems based on SAMA sheets & control narratives, with a preference for those who have experience programming in a Function Block Diagram environment. Your responsibilities will include developing graphics in DCS\PLC HMI systems based on P&IDs and graphic specifications, preparation of control test cases/instructions, and performing logic & graphics testing. You will be expected to review functional requirements, generate System Design Specification, prepare technical reports, and generate Requirement Traceability Matrix. Additionally, you will need to capture functional requirements from design documents, engage in system engineering & cabinet engineering, create macros, control logic sheets, and HMI screens based on functional requirements. Your role will involve developing test procedures for logic and graphics testing, performing engineering, CTE, & functional testing for Macros, Logic, & HMI screens, and creating test reports to demonstrate compliance with functional requirements. It is essential that you are capable of studying and modifying P&IDs, I/O List, Alarm List, Electrical Load list, Control Narratives, Functional Logic Diagrams, Cause & Effect Diagrams. Furthermore, you should have experience in developing electrical & control panel schematics & layouts. Knowledge of tools like Smart Plant Foundation, INTOOLS, COMOS, Aveva, etc. will be considered an added advantage. Familiarity with HAZOP classification is also an added advantage for this role.,
