Lead / Senior Manager Controls Design SME

Role Overview: You will be responsible for designing, configuring, programming, installing, and troubleshooting HVAC Controls and Electrical SCADA systems in BDx data centers. Key Responsibilities: - Develop BMS and power management projects scope of work, schedule, budget, and level of efforts (LOE) for projects requested by customers and stakeholders. - Manage scope, schedule, finance, and execution of BMS improvement projects in BDx data centers. - Assist in procurement activities including request for quotation/proposals, responding to request for information, review of vendors' proposals, and issuance of purchase orders. - Support Controls projects related commissioning activities in the data centers. - Conduct engineering analysis and research designs and methods of data center equipment and facilities. - Develop data center vulnerability remediation playbooks for control system designs in conjunction with IT teams. Qualification Required: - Bachelors degree in engineering or equivalent practical experience. - Excellent understanding of industry-standard electrical and mechanical systems used in data centers, as well as controls/monitoring systems. - 10+ years of experience in designing, configuring, programming, installing, troubleshooting or servicing HVAC Controls and Electrical SCADA systems application specific controllers, Building Management System (BMS) Controls software, and networks. - Develop and modify controls logic programming and graphical user interfaces. - Project coordination experience with multiple teams or vendors to meet project requirements for data centers. - Experience with TCP/IP, MQTT, BACnet and/or MODBUS communication protocols. - Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
