Lead React Native Developer

Technical Leadership Architecture:

Lead the technical design and architecture of ourcross-platform mobile applications to ensure scalability, performance, andmaintainability.

Define and enforce coding standards, best practices, anddesign patterns across the mobile team through rigorous code reviews.

Evaluate and select appropriate third-party libraries,tools, and frameworks to enhance the development process.

Drive the strategy for state management (e.g., Redux, MobX,Zustand) and data fetching/caching.

Hands-on Development Native Bridging:

Serve as the primary point of contact for complex technicalchallenges, particularly those involving native module integrations.

Write high-quality, reusable, and performant code forcritical features.

Troubleshoot and resolve difficult performance bottlenecks(rendering issues, memory leaks) on both iOS and Android devices.

Manage the build and release process for the App Store andGoogle Play Store, ideally utilizing CI/CD tools like Fastlane, CircleCI, orBitrise.

Mentorship Collaboration:

Mentor mid-level and senior engineers, fostering theirprofessional growth and technical development.

Collaborate closely with Product Managers, UI/UX Designers,and Backend Engineers to translate requirements into technical specificationsand timelines.

Participate in hiring and onboarding new mobile teammembers.

The Ideal Candidate Profile

Must-Have Qualifications:

7+ years of total professional software developmentexperience.

4+ years of proven experience building and deployingcommercial applications using React Native in a senior or lead capacity.

Expert-level knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+) and, crucially,TypeScript.

Deep understanding of React fundamentals, including Hooks,Context API, and component lifecycles.

Native Experience is essential: Demonstrated ability towrite or debug native code in Swift/Objective-C (iOS) and Kotlin/Java (Android)when required to build bridges or fix platform-specific issues.

Solid understanding of mobile build tools: Xcode, Gradle,Android Studio, and CocoaPods.

Experience with state management libraries (Redux Toolkit,MobX, or similar).

Proven experience setting up and maintaining mobile CI/CDpipelines (e.g., Fastlane, App Center). Experience writing unit and end-to-end tests (Jest, ReactNative Testing Library, Detox/Appium).
