Lead QA Engineer - ETL & UI Automation (Python + Selenium/Playwright)

You will be joining a global digital solutions company recognized for its expertise in cloud services, data engineering, and quality assurance. The company has a strong emphasis on innovation and agile delivery within the BFSI and Healthcare sectors. As a leader in the Quality Assurance (QA) department, your role will involve overseeing both manual and automated testing procedures across ETL pipelines, user interfaces, and databases. You will lead a team and collaborate extensively with global teams, ensuring the implementation of best testing practices, documentation of quality strategies, and seamless integration with CI/CD tools. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and supervise a QA team of 4 or more members responsible for ETL, UI, DB, and end-to-end testing. - Analyze project requirements, develop detailed test cases, and generate test data for both manual and automated testing. - Validate ETL workflows and transformation logic using advanced SQL techniques (Snowflake/Postgres/MySQL). - Develop and maintain automation scripts utilizing BDD frameworks (Gherkin/Behave, Pytest) in Python. - Integrate automation frameworks with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, and Rundeck. - Create and update documentation including Test Strategy, Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), and Defect Reports. - Foster collaboration among DevOps, SRE, developers, and stakeholders. - Provide senior leadership with testing metrics and suggestions for improvement. Qualifications: - 9-12 years of total QA experience, with a minimum of 6 years in ETL/UI/DB testing. - At least 3 years of experience in automation testing (Selenium v3+, Playwright) using Python. - Proficiency in SQL queries, preferably with Snowflake/Postgres databases. - Familiarity with AWS or other cloud platforms. - Demonstrated leadership skills managing a team of at least 2 QA members. - Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban). - Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. Nice To Have: - Exposure to DBT, Informatica, or MS Power BI. - Knowledge of the Healthcare/Life Sciences domain. - Understanding of front-end versus back-end validation. - Willingness to collaborate with international teams and work flexible hours.
