Lead Product Engineer

As a Lead Product Engineer at Seclore, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the globally used enterprise data security product. You will lead a team to design and build the next-generation, cloud-native product vertical, Data Discovery. This role offers you the opportunity to innovate, experiment, solve complex problems, and mentor a high-performing engineering team. Key Responsibilities: - Product & Technical Leadership: Lead the design and development of major components and features for the new product initiative. Collaborate with software architects, development, and product management teams. - Software Development: Drive hands-on development using Java, Spring Boot, and related web technologies. Design, develop, test, maintain, and enhance the product. - Architecture & Design: Apply Microservices and Cloud-native architectures to build a resilient system. Lead discussions on system design for major product components. - Team Leadership & Mentorship: Build, mentor, and inspire a team of engineers. Provide technical guidance on design techniques and technologies. Conduct code reviews and ensure coding standards. - Quality & DevOps Integration: Ensure seamless integration of features into CI/CD pipelines. Drive best practices for testability, quality gates, and automated testing. - Problem Solving & Innovation: Analyze customer-reported issues and identify areas for innovation and improvement. - Delivery & Communication: Manage priorities, deadlines, and deliverables effectively. Communicate technical progress and challenges to stakeholders. Qualifications Required: - Experience: 6 to 10 years in Java/J2EE development, with at least 3 years in a technical lead role. - Education: BE / B. Tech / MCA / PGDST or equivalent degree from a reputed institute. - Core Java: Deep hands-on experience with Java development and Spring Boot. - Architecture & APIs: Strong experience in Microservice development and designing complex enterprise applications. Proficiency in RESTful and gRPC web services. - Containerization & Orchestration: Hands-on experience with Docker and understanding of Kubernetes. - Databases: Experience with RDBMS and NoSQL databases. - Version Control: Hands-on experience with Git and Git workflows. - Testing: Proficiency in JUnit and writing testable code. Exposure to E2E frameworks. - CI/CD: Strong understanding and practical experience with CI/CD pipelines. - Soft Skills: Proven ability to lead, mentor, and motivate technical teams.
