Lead Product Engineer

As a Lead Product Engineer, you will be a core partof this new venture, leading a team to design and build our next-generation,cloud-native product, "Nova". You will research and implement modernsolutions, manage priorities, and drive high-quality deliveries. ProductTechnical Leadership: Lead thedesign and development of major components and features for our new productinitiative. Research, evaluate, and decide on the best and most practicalsolutions for complex technical problems, ensuring scalability and robustness.Collaborate actively with software architects, development, and productmanagement teams for a cohesive approach and maximum coverage.

SoftwareDevelopment: Drive hands-ondevelopment using Java, Spring Boot, and related web technologies. Design,develop, test, maintain, and enhance the product.

ArchitectureDesign: Apply experience inMicroservices and Cloud-native architectures to build a resilient andhigh-performing system. Lead discussions and decisions on system design formajor product components.

TeamLeadership Mentorship: Build,mentor, and inspire a small team of engineers. Provide expert technicalguidance on design techniques and technologies, fostering a collaborative andinnovative environment. Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to codingstandards.

QualityDevOps Integration: Ensureseamless integration of developed features into CI/CD pipelines. Drive bestpractices for testability, quality gates, and automated testing (unit,integration, E2E).

ProblemSolving Innovation: Analyzeissues reported by customers and proactively identify areas for innovation andimprovement within the product.

DeliveryCommunication: Managepriorities, deadlines, and deliverables effectively. Communicate technicalprogress and challenges to stakeholders.

Experience:6 to 10 years in Java/J2EE development, with at least 3 years in a technicallead role.

Education:BE / B. Tech / MCA / PGDST or equivalent degree from a reputed institute.

Core Java:Deep hands-on experience with Java development and Spring Boot.

ArchitectureAPIs: Strong experience in Microservice development and designing complexenterprise applications, with proficiency in RESTful and gRPC web services.

ContainerizationOrchestration: Hands-on experience with Docker and a high-levelunderstanding of Kubernetes (deployments, rolling updates, service exposure).

Databases:Experience with RDBMS and NoSQL databases

VersionControl: Hands-on experience with Git and Git workflows (feature branching,PRs, rebasing, tagging, conflict resolution).

Testing:Proficiency in JUnit and writing testable code, with exposure to E2E frameworks(e.g., Playwright, Cypress, Selenium).

CI/CD:Strong understanding and practical experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g.,GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions), including integrating automated tests andenforcing quality gates

SoftSkills: Proven ability to lead, mentor, and motivate technical teams.Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Ability tothrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
