Lead Product Designer

• Being in a lean UX/UI studio environment, you will be spearheading and taking care of multiple projects.
• You will be an advocate for design and will be the visionary within your team on any project you work on.
• You will be handling a team of at least 3-4 designers and be responsible for enhancing their output productivity and growth.
• You will be working on projects across multiple domains - ranging from fintech, edu-tech, e-commerce, healthcare, agri-tech and many more depending upon the requirement of the studio during any course of time.
• You will be interacting with leaders across different industries for projects. Typically the C-suite/VP.
• You will be responsible for leading the UX research and study required for multiple projects with a team. This includes qualitative and quantitative research.
• Within UX, you will manage projects end-to-end which include - Persona creation, Empathy mapping, User journey, User interviews, User testing,, Wireframing, Product Design and more.
• You will also be expected to lead projects, drive design through impact and take ownership of how your work has helped organisations improve experiences and in turn businesses.
• You will be working directly with the Design Director in decision-making for different projects that you would be handling.
• You should have the ability to create and work on complex information architectures and define user journeys for complex products.
• You will be responsible for creating aesthetically pleasing and innovative interface designs for digital products.
• For your team, you should be able to direct and also be hands on. This also means directing by designing and using the software.
  

Job requirements

• At least 4 years of experience with a strong understanding of both UX and UI.
• Preferably a background with a design agency or leading products which showcases the experience of handling client requirements in depth.
• A very strong ability to manage time and meet deadlines of the projects that are undertaken.
• Ability to work solo and in a team. Proficient with software like Adobe XD and Figma (Must), Sketch (Good to have), Photoshop, Illustrator, Zeplin.
• Strong communication and reasoning skills within designs.
