Lead Plant Finance

As a candidate for the mentioned job role, you will be responsible for leading and managing the plant finance and supply chain activities. This includes overseeing vendor management and heading the finance function for the plant. Your role will involve determining financial objectives, designing and implementing systems, and procedures to ensure internal financial control. Key Responsibilities: - Reviewing Capex proposals, Service Contracts, and Logistic contracts to ensure their relevance to business requirements, financial terms and conditions, price justification, taxation, and budget availability. - Formulating budgets, conducting variance analysis, and implementing corrective actions based on the differences between projected and actual results. - Contributing to improving working capital utilization through inventory analysis and providing recommendations. - Implementing and maintaining a robust internal control environment in the manufacturing units. - Providing support through ad-hoc analysis on manufacturing and supply chain business decisions. Qualifications Required: - CA or ICWA qualification. - 10 to 15+ years of experience in a relevant senior plant finance role. - Advanced experience in Finance and Manufacturing environments. - Strong ERP, preferably SAP exposure, and Product Costing experience. - Strong automotive industry experience. - Experience with Electric Vehicles (EVs) is a plus.
