Qualifications & Experience

• B.

  E / B.Tech in Electrical / Civil / Mechanical Engineering (mandatory).

• 10-16 years of experience in Project Planning & Monitoring, including minimum 5 years in Solar or Power EPC projects.

• Certifications such as PMP / PRINCE2 / Primavera P6 Professional preferred.

• NICMAR candidate is preferred .

Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop and control integrated master schedules covering all project phases Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Testing & Commissioning.
• Define project milestones, critical paths, and resource loading using Primavera P6 / MS Project.
• Establish and maintain project control systems, baseline schedules, and reporting mechanisms across all sites.

• Review and validate subcontractor schedules to ensure alignment with the master project plan.

• Drive weekly and monthly project reviews with Project Managers and Site Heads.
• Track Plan vs Actuals for time, cost, and scope; analyse variances and recommend recovery plans.
• Implement Earned Value Management (EVM) to measure schedule and cost performance.
• Prepare and present S-Curves, progress dashboards, and project health reports for management and clients.
• Lead delay analysis and prepare Extension of Time (EoT) or claim documentation when required.
• Collaborate closely with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Finance, and Contracts teams to synchronize execution timelines.
• Ensure procurement and logistics plans are aligned with project milestones to avoid critical delays.
• Interface with clients and consultants for project reporting and schedule approvals.
• Support senior management with data-driven insights for decision-making and resource allocation.

• Institutionalize planning standards, templates, and reporting formats across all Solar EPC projects

• Introduce digital project control tools/dashboards (Power BI, ERP integrations) for real-time performance tracking.
• Mentor and develop planning engineers and site coordinators across regions.
• Drive continuous improvement in project controls, productivity tracking, and forecasting accuracy.

Skills & Competencies

• In-depth knowledge of Solar EPC project lifecycle (Design Procurement Construction Commissioning).

• Strong command over Primavera P6, MS Project, P

  ower BI, and Excel-based reporting systems.
• Expertise in EVM, CPM, and Risk Management principles.
• Strategic thinker with strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple large projects concurrently across geographies.
