Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Identify, isolate, and characterize beneficial microbial strains for use in bio-fertilizer and bio-pesticide products
Develop, test, and optimize microbial formulations to improve product performance and shelf life
Manage end-to-end production pipeline.
Lead quality control protocols to ensure microbial consistency and efficacy across production batches
Conduct in-depth research on microbial-soil-plant interactions to support product development
Collaborate with agronomists, R&D teams, and field experts to validate application practices
Document experimental findings, maintain comprehensive lab records, and contribute to scientific publications or technical reports

Preferred candidate profile

Required Qualifications & Skills

Postgraduate degree (M.Sc./Ph.D.) in Microbiology, Agricultural Microbiology, or a related discipline
Minimum 12 to 15 years of hands-on experience in microbiological research, particularly in agriculture-related applications
Expertise in microbial culturing, fermentation, and formulation techniques
Familiarity with quality control standards and regulatory compliance for biological products
Strong analytical, documentation, and English communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively across functions and lead technical discussions
