Lead Manager Piping Mechanical Engineering

You will be joining our team as a Lead / Manager - Piping Mechanical Engineering in Pune, specializing in Waste Water Treatment projects. With a minimum qualification of BE / B.Tech / M.Tech (or equivalent) and 18-20+ years of experience in the industry, you will play a crucial role in overseeing large-scale EPC desalination and wastewater treatment projects. Your responsibilities will include leading and coordinating the Mechanical Engineering efforts for high-value EPC projects, developing and implementing Mechanical Design Plans in accordance with project schedules, and performing system engineering and calculations such as hydraulic, tank capacity, HFDs, etc. You will also be responsible for reviewing and approving third-party calculations, preparing piping material specifications, datasheets, and technical bid analyses, and collaborating with vendors, subcontractors, and external agencies to ensure design adequacy. Moreover, you will conduct design reviews, technical meetings, and project review sessions with clients, ensure compliance with ISO standards, address NCRs from site/shop teams, and implement corrective actions and lessons learned for continuous improvement. Your role will require a strong proficiency in P&ID, process calculations, and mechanical design principles, expertise in piping stress analysis, structural design review, and cost optimization, as well as excellent project management, analytical, and leadership skills. Effective collaboration and communication skills are essential to liaise across teams and clients for successful project execution.,
