Role Overview

Hindi

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the linguistic quality pipeline for Hindi across all workflows.
  • Create, maintain, and refine Hindi linguistic guidelines and rulebooks.
  • Review morphology, syntax, semantics, and grammar (including agreement and case-marking).
  • Validate NER, sentiment, entity-tagging, intent classification, and text/speech annotations.
  • Conduct weekly calibration sessions to maintain consistency.
  • Identify and document Hindi-specific linguistic error patterns.
  • Provide mentoring to Senior Linguists and Linguistic Engineers.
  • Partner with Principal Linguists for diagnostics and linguistic decision-making.

Required Skills

  • Deep knowledge of Hindi grammar, orthography (Devanagari), and dialectal variations.
  • Strong understanding of linguistic evaluation metrics (WER, MOS, F1).
  • Experience with Hindi–English code-mixed data.
  • Hands-on experience with annotation and evaluation tools.
