As the Lead for Leadership Development at Suzlon Energy Ltd., you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and overseeing leadership development initiatives across the corporate level. Your primary responsibility will be to foster a culture of continuous learning and leadership excellence within the organization. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Leadership Strategy Development:** - Create and execute a comprehensive leadership development strategy aligned with corporate objectives and industry best practices. - Collaborate with C-suite and high-potential executives to identify and develop leadership capabilities crucial for organizational success. - **Intervention Design Solutioning and Implementation:** - Design innovative leadership development programs such as workshops, coaching, mentoring, and assessment centers. - Implement succession planning frameworks to ensure a robust pipeline of future leaders. - Advocate for external/internal partnerships to bring diverse perspectives into leadership development. - **Digital Acumen Integration:** - Incorporate digital tools and methodologies into leadership programs to enhance learning experiences and outcomes. - Stay updated on digital trends in leadership development to keep Suzlon competitive. - **Stakeholder Engagement:** - Build strong relationships with business unit leaders and HR teams to foster a collaborative approach to leadership development. - Engage with industry forums to benchmark practices and share insights on leadership trends. - **Assessment and Evaluation:** - Develop metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of leadership development initiatives. - Conduct regular assessments of program impact on organizational performance and employee engagement. - **Coaching and Mentoring:** - Provide coaching and mentoring to enhance leaders' skills and effectiveness. - Facilitate peer learning opportunities among leaders across different business units. **Qualifications:** - **Education:** Masters degree in Psychology, Learning Design, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field. **Experience:** - 15-20 years of progressive experience in leadership development roles, preferably in manufacturing, oil & gas, renewables, or automotive sectors. - Proven track record of working with C-suite executives and influencing organizational strategy through effective leadership practices. **Skills:** - Strong digital acumen integrating technology into learning solutions. - Excellent interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement. - Ability to design and implement succession planning processes. - Proficient in Ms Office, Data Analytics, and managing finances and budgets. **Preferred Qualifications:** - Experience with industry forums or associations related to leadership development. - Familiarity with assessment centers for identifying leadership potential. - Knowledge of contemporary leadership theories relevant to digital transformation. **Core Competencies:** - Solution-Oriented Mindset. - Strategic Thinking. - Collaboration. - Transformational Mindset.
