As a Lead Java Developer at Phonon.io in Vadodara, you will play a crucial role in developing and optimizing enterprise communication solutions. Your responsibilities will include: - Leading two to three modules or core functionalities with a team of 3-4 engineers, serving as both an individual contributor and a leader. - Designing, developing, and maintaining backend and middleware applications using J2EE, Spring Framework, Spring Security, and Spring Boot. - Working on database design, development, and optimization using MySQL and MongoDB. - Developing and maintaining VoIP systems using Asterisk to ensure high availability and scalability. - Utilizing Linux for system administration tasks, scripting, and application deployment. - Implementing and managing cloud-based solutions on AWS, including EC2 instances, S3 storage, and API Gateway. - Designing and developing APIs for integration with third-party services and internal systems. - Ensuring applications work at scale with high performance and reliability. - Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. - Providing technical support and troubleshooting for backend and middleware applications. Qualifications required for this role include: - Minimum 8-10 years of experience in software development with expertise in J2EE, Spring Framework, Spring Security, Spring Boot, MySQL, and MongoDB. - Hands-on experience with Asterisk and VoIP systems. - Strong skills in Linux system administration and scripting. - Experience with AWS cloud services and API Gateway. - Proven experience in designing and developing applications that work at scale. - Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Your technical skills should encompass proficiency in J2EE, extensive experience with Spring Framework, strong skills in MySQL and MongoDB, expertise in Asterisk and other VoIP technologies, proficiency in Linux system administration and scripting, experience with AWS services, including EC2, S3, and API Gateway, expertise in API development, and skills in designing high-performance, scalable applications.
